Argus Advisory Group, LLC (“Argus”, “we”, “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect when you visit argus-advisory.com, why we collect it, and the choices you have.

1. Who we are

Argus Advisory Group, LLC is a vendor spend advisory firm that negotiates software and technology contracts on behalf of its clients. We are the controller of the personal information described in this policy. You can reach us at hello@argus-advisory.com.

2. Information you give us

The only place we ask for personal information on this site is the executive assessment request form. Depending on the fields presented, that form may collect your name, business email address, company name, job title, phone number and anything you choose to write in a free-text field.

You are not required to give us this information to read the site. You give it to us only if you choose to request an assessment.

3. Information collected automatically

When you visit the site, our hosting and analytics providers may record technical information such as your IP address, browser type and version, device type, operating system, the pages you view, how long you spend on them, the site or advertisement that referred you, and any campaign parameters in the link you followed (for example utm_source or utm_campaign).

5. How we use your information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own cross-context behavioural advertising.

Where the UK GDPR or EU GDPR applies, we rely on: your consent for non-essential cookies and marketing email; our legitimate interests in operating and improving the site, understanding demand for our services and contacting business prospects; the necessity of performing a contract where you become a client; and legal obligation where the law requires us to retain records.

7. Who we share information with

We share personal information only with service providers who process it on our instructions:

8. International transfers

Argus is based in the United States, and our service providers process data in the United States. If you contact us from outside the United States, your information will be transferred there. Where required, those transfers are made under the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses or an equivalent safeguard.

9. How long we keep it

We keep enquiry records for as long as needed to respond and to maintain a record of the business relationship, and no longer than is reasonable for that purpose or required by law. Analytics data is retained in aggregate. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.

10. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, to restrict or object to how we use it, to receive a portable copy, to withdraw consent, and to opt out of marketing. Residents of California additionally have the right to know what is collected, to request deletion or correction, to opt out of any sale or sharing, and not to be discriminated against for exercising those rights. As stated above, we do not sell or share personal information in that sense.

11. Security

The site is served over HTTPS, and we use reputable providers with recognised security practices. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take reasonable steps to protect the information you give us.

12. Children

This site is intended for business audiences. It is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

13. Third-party links

The site links to third-party sites such as LinkedIn. We are not responsible for their privacy practices, and we encourage you to read their policies.

14. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top of the page shows when it was last revised. Material changes will be made clear on this page.
